Bethel Lutheran Church Leadership

Bethel Lutheran Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Debbie Poirier, SAM

Campus Coordinator

Debbie Poirier has served as the Campus Coordinator for Bethel Lutheran since March 2021. In her role as Campus Coordinator she leads weekly worship services as well as confirmation and youth programs.

Debbie has lived in the New Auburn area since May of 2013. She enjoys being involved in the community as well as meeting new people. Debbie lives with her husband Todd outside of New Auburn. Their daughter, Miranda, currently attends UW-Platteville.

Aaron Sturgis

Senior Pastor

Pastor Aaron Sturgis has served as Central Lutheran’s Senior Pastor since December 2013. Before that, he served as the Director of Youth and Family Ministry of Hope Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, WI.

Pastor Aaron is very enthusiastic and has strong preaching and leadership abilities. His congregation has grown significantly under his guidance. He graduated from Luther Seminary in 2013 with a degree in Master of Divinity.

Pastor Aaron is married to his wife Nikole, and they have three children.
